Fay Ellen is a fourth-generation St. Pete native. She studied harp and voice at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and remains an in-demand harpist in the Southeast playing for weddings across the region.

Bob graduated from Pinellas Park HS, attended USF in Tampa where he was active in the Wind Ensemble under Jerry Junkin, Jazz Ensembles I and II under Chuck Owen, and took lessons with Art Woodbury. He enlisted in the US Army as a Saxophone Player and was stationed at Ft. McClellan in Northeast Alabama. Bob went on to earn degrees from Jacksonville State University and Troy University and taught in Alabama and Georgia until retiring from Georgia schools in Dec. 2022.
